Use these settings to determine how the Planning module works and the recommendations that are produced from MRP.
Settings are held in various tabs, relating to different areas of the Planning module.
The General area holds settings which determine how the Refresh Demand Schedule and Refresh MRP routines will run.
The Make for Stock tab manages the Make for Stock area.
The Sales Forecasts tab manages the Sales Forecast area.
The Working Week tab sets the production week for the company. It is also accessible from the Maintain Works Order Settings screen.
To enter or view planning settings
Open: Planning > Utilities > System Set Up > Maintain Planning Settings
Open: Planning > Utilities > System Set Up > View Planning Settings
Note: The View Planning Settings option allows you to view the settings but not amend them.
