Works Orders can be archived once they are Closed or Cancelled, which is a useful housekeeping exercise.
This removes them from the Works Orders List and from most screens in the Works Orders module.
Archived Works Orders can still be accessed from Sage, using the View Archived Works Order screen.
Use this screen to archive Works Orders up to a certain date.
Archive Works Orders
Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > File Maintenance > View Archived Works Order
- Select the date to use when archiving Works Orders. All Closed or Cancelled orders with a Closed Date or Cancelled Date respectively dated on or before the selected date will be archived.
- Click OK to proceed with the archive. Click Cancel to exit without archiving.
