Works Orders can be archived once they are Closed or Cancelled, which is a useful housekeeping exercise. This removes them from the Works Orders List and from most screens in the Works Orders module.
Archived Works Orders can still be accessed from Sage, using the View Archived Works Order screen.
This screen shows the works order and associated detail including component traceability & scrap recordings, operation bookings, subcontract history, costing history and the audit log.
To view archived works orders from the Archived Works Orders list
Open: Works Orders > Utilities > File Maintenance > Archived Works Order List.
- In the Archived Works Order List, select the works order to view.
- Select the View button above the list view.
To view archived Works Orders from the menu
Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > File Maintenance > View Archived Works Order
- Select the archived Works Order to view
View the works order details on the following tabs:

- Attachments
- Drawings
- Analysis Codes
- Completions
- Audit Log
To close the works order, click Close.
