Maintain Cancellation Codes

Cancel a Works Order when it is no longer needed. After a Works Order has been cancelled, nothing more can be done with it.

When cancelling an order, a Cancellation Code must be assigned to the cancellation, to provide further details about why the order is being cancelled.

Use this screen to setup Cancellation Codes for use when cancelling orders.

To add a Cancellation Code

Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > System Setup > Maintain Cancellation Codes

The Cancellation Codes area lists existing codes.

  1. Click Add to add a new cancellation code.
  2. Enter the new Code.  Cancellation codes must be unique.
  3. Enter a Description for the new code.
  4. Type or select the Nominal Code to use for posting any residual works order costs at point of cancellation.
  5. To save the code, click Save. To exit the screen without saving, click Cancel.

To edit a Cancellation Code

Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > System Setup > Maintain Cancellation Codes

The Cancellation Codes area lists existing codes.

  1. Select the cancellation code to amend and Edit.
  2. The Description and Nominal Code can be amended.
  3. To save the changes, click Save. To exit the screen without saving, click Cancel.
