Use these settings to choose how to process and manage Works Orders.
Note: The View Works Order Settings option allows you to view the settings but not amend them.
Select from the following settings:
Missing Costs Prompt on Closure Option
Cim200 allows expected costs to be used automatically as actual cost for Works Order Operations which have had no actual times or costs recorded against them.
This function can be offered for each Works Order on Closure, or it can be set to do the same thing each time. Use this option to set a preference.
Select Prompt on Each Order to have a warning when closing an order if Actual costs have not been recorded for all operations, to avoid Closing an order which has costs still to be booked. This is the recommended setting when Actual costs are recorded for all operations.
Select Always Yes for the Works Order Close to assume that where an operation has missing Actual costs the Expected cost will be used instead. This is a useful setting when Actual costs are not recorded, and the Expected cost should be included instead.
Select Always No for the Works Order Close to only include Actual costs in the final cost. Any operations with no Actual costs would be costed at zero; Expected cost would be ignored.
