Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > System Set Up > View Works Order Settings | General

Use these settings to choose how to process and manage Works Orders.

Note: The View Works Order Settings option allows you to view the settings but not amend them.

Select from the following settings:

Include in MRP Demand

When MRP looks at the component demands of Works Orders, the Include in MRP Demand option on each order determines whether MRP will look at its demands. Enable this option to default new Works Orders to be included in MRP demand. The option can be overridden as the order is created.

Include in MRP Replenishment

When MRP looks at built item replenishments from Works Orders, the Include in MRP Replenishment option on an order determines whether MRP will include it. Enable this option to default new Works Orders to be included in MRP replenishment calculations. The option can be overridden as the order is created.

Exclude from Stock Projection

When Planning calculates stock projections, it can include outstanding Works Orders as a source of replenishment for built items and a source of demand for components.

To prevent an order being included in stock projection calculations, tick the Exclude from Stock Projection option on the works order. To default new Works Orders to be included in stock projections, do not enable this option.

Colours

The Works Orders list colour codes the background of orders which are considered either Late or At Risk of being late.

An order is At Risk if the end date is after the safety due date but before the due date.

A works order is Late if the due date is in the past, or if the end date is after the due date.

The coloured boxes show which colours will be used for each status. Click on a coloured box to open the colour picker and change to a different colour if required.
