Open: Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > System Set Up > View Works Order Settings | Scrap Codes
Use these settings to choose how to process and manage Works Orders.
Note: The View Works Order Settings option allows you to view the settings but not amend them.
Components can be scrapped for a Works Order, therefore Scrap Codes are used to reflect the additional cost and material usage that scrapping may involve.
As components are scrapped, a scrap code must be assigned so that the main causes or reasons behind scrapping can be analysed.
Before components can be scrapped, at least one scrap code must be setup. Use this tab to setup required scrap codes.
Add Scrap Codes
- Click Add.
- Enter the Scrap Code and Reason Text for the scrap code.
- Tick Enabled to make the scrap code available for use.
- To apply the details, click Save.
