Support Newsletter – February 2022 – Cim50 & Sage 50 Accounts

Hello and welcome to the February edition of the CIM Support newsletter.

The CIM Support newsletter has been put together to collate all supports calls from our customers and partners throughout the month. This gives us the insight required to suggest suitable resources to hopefully assist you in your day to day processing.

With ‘Plan B’ having been scrapped, we have all returned to the office. Let’s hope that’s the last time we are advised to WFH.

Having reviewed the support calls received during January 2022 we have found that the help guides below were the most common topics.

Sage 50 Accounts

How do Bank Feeds work?

This guide explains how Sage 50cloud Accounts uses Bank Feeds to link to your bank account and what is needed for this feature.

Common queries when opening or logging into Sage 50cloud Accounts

This guide provides answers to common questions about opening Sage 50cloud Accounts and logging into your accounts data.

Check if a tax code is included in the VAT Return

This guide explains how to check if a tax code in Sage 50cloud Accounts is set up to be included in your VAT Return.

Cim50

Guide Troubleshooting Not Connected to Data Source

This is caused as your machine is delayed in establishing a connection to the Cim50 data on the server. In order to resolve, in most occurrences we have found trying again a few seconds later will allow you to log in, if this does not work, please restart machine, and try again.

Guide Making a Stock Item Inactive

Before an item can be marked inactive the following validation checks must be satisfied, some of these are standard checks that Sage 50cloud Accounts would make if you were making the item inactive directly in Sage 50.

Guide Troubleshooting Unable to Complete Works Order due to Allocations

When trying to complete a works order you receive a message, viewing the components on the works order you will be able to see at least one component shows an allocated quantity as well as showing fully Issued.

This should not occur, but in some instances can occur if when issuing the component, it was not possible to clear the allocation quantity.
