Hello and welcome to the June edition of the CIM Support newsletter.
Are you looking forward to the long weekend for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee? Praying for sunshine so we can all enjoy our festivities. I’m thinking afternoon tea, BBQ’s and Pimms o’clock!
This month we shall be providing you with some webinar recordings to help you get the most out of Sage50 Accounts. Please note, that you will need to enter your name and email address to be able to watch the webinars.
Cim50 has an updated guide for the Sync Delay along with a couple of other useful guides.
Sage 50cloud Accounts
Any stock records amended directly in Sage 50cloud Accounts will be identified by the sync and synchronised with Cim50. This may take up to 30 seconds to be reflected in Cim50.
Changes made to records in Cim50, or transactions posted from Cim50 will be updated to both systems real time and will go through regardless of the status of the sync.
Please note: If the sync is not running or showing delayed, when the record is accessed by a user in CIM50 it will be automatically sync’d.
If you have migrated from Sage Manufacturing, then:
The unit of sale on the stock item in Sage 50cloud Accounts will have been migrated as the “Stock Unit of Measure” on the stock item in Cim50.
If the decimal precision is changed in Sage 50cloud Accounts (Settings – Products Defaults)
Any changes made will update Cim50 when the sync runs overnight when Cimi next runs or can be manually sync’d, by going to:
CIM50>File>Maintenance>Check Data>Refresh Sage 50 Accounts data
Please note: This may take several hours depending on data size, and once it has run, you will need to log out and back into Cim50 to see the effect.
We hope these guides will be of assistance, however, if you wish to discuss these further, please contact the support team by clicking the button at the bottom of this newsletter.
