Making Tax Digital checklist: How to ensure you’re ready for MTD in April 2022
This is part of HMRC’s ongoing Making Tax Digital (MTD) plans.
But as of 1 April 2022, all VAT-registered businesses will be required to use MTD for their VAT accounting.
This includes around 700,000 businesses that are registered for VAT but are below the VAT threshold, so may not have considered MTD for VAT before now.
With this deadline approaching, we’ve updated this Making Tax Digital checklist to help all businesses get up to speed with MTD for VAT if they find themselves needing to.

Introduction to SFDC (Shop Floor Data Capture)
The SFDC module is a separate, standalone module that sits alongside Cim50. It is designed to streamline shop floor processes by utilising barcode scanning and a simple to use interface.
Works Orders – Print Documents
To print works order documents, select the Works Order(s) from the main works order list, and press the Print button.
The screen above will list all works orders to be printed, along with the documents types configured on your system. The documents that are ticked will be printed.
Stock Control – Dashboards
Dashboards can be accessed from the feature on the left-hand menu of Cim50 and provide key performance indicators across the Cim50 Modules.
